Convex Polygon and Its Inscribed Triangles

Move the slider pointer to its extreme right. The convex polygon (quadrilateral) will be divided into two triangles.

The triangles will disappear when the slider pointer is moved to its extreme left.

The number of inscribed triangles depends on the number of sides of a convex polygon as follows:

Number of triangles = Number of sides - 2
